Covid Addendum to Terms and Conditions

You, the hirer, will be responsible for ensuring that those attending your activity or event, comply with the COVID 19 secure guidelines when entering and occupying the Hall and that you comply with the actions identified in the Hall’s Risk Assessment, of which you have been provided with a copy.

  • No more than 15 attendees to use the Hall at any one time, observing social distancing as currently advised by the Government (Based on 2m and including the stage)
  • Hirer to ensure that the Name and contact details of all attendees are obtained and a record kept and made available if requested
  • Hirer to adopt a queue system as attendees arrive and leave, to ensure that social distancing is maintained
  • Hirer to ensure that social distancing is maintained in the corridor leading from the Hall/entrance to the toilet
  • So far as it is possible to do so, windows and doors to be left open for ventilation
  • Hand sanitiser (provided) to be used upon entering and exiting the Hall
  • Face masks to be worn (advisory)
  • Hirer to encourage group to wash hands regularly and to avoid touching mouth eyes and nose
  • All attendees to bring own tissues and to dispose of them in a disposable rubbish bag, then wash/sanitise hands
  • The Kitchen and Store are Closed.
  • Any Hirer’s equipment currently kept in Store will kept on the Stage for access.
  • Hirer to bring all equipment required and to take it away at the end of the session
  • Hirer to bring own food and refreshments (if necessary) & remove all remnants from Hall.
  • Any ‘additional equipment’ (eg Card Tablesetc.,) to be requested in advance
  • One Toilet is only available; The Ladies Toilet will become a ‘Unisex’ facility. Users will make use of the ‘Vacant’/‘Engaged’ sign on the Toilet Cubicle Door, & to ensure distancing.
  • Hirer to ensure that all surfaces are cleaned at the end of the session (tables, chairs, door handles, light switches) Please do not spray directly onto light switches – spray onto a cloth then wipe.
  • Hirer to remove all rubbish at the end of the session
  • If someone becomes ill, Hirer to ensure that all other attendees leave the premises, except anyone left to assist the person who has become unwell.
  • In the event of a suspected Covid-19 case in the Hall, call NHS 111 for advice and inform Booking Clerk as soon as possible on 01296-660680 / 07969-434265 and Do Not Return Keys to KeyBox to prevent further us of Hall until after deep clean.
